This notice is to inform you that Allentown School District has hired a professional language translator and interpreter who will lead a team of interpreters and translators to assist you when you communicate with your children’s schools.
The schools that your children attend have information that you required communication to be sent home in your native language. If you need any other service related to communication with the school or the District in your preferred language. Please let us know by sending a note to your child’s teacher in your native language and our designated language interpreter will communicate with you. 

- We will continue to support your language needs by sending home notices in your preferred language of communication. 
- Our website has translated information to better service our multilingual students and their families. The translate button is located in the top left-hand corner. This is built into the system and accessible from each school and district page.
- All communication regarding school closings, weather related notices, school trips etc. will be in your preferred language of communication.
- Parent-teachers’ conferences, enrollment, career fairs, or disciplinary proceedings will be supported by our trained bilingual personnel.

The District believes in giving all parents and students a voice, so they can feel part of our Allentown School District community.
